TMetric is a work time tracking app for professionals and companies. By integrating TMetric with Todoist, you'll be able to see how much time you spend on tasks.
The integration is only supported in our web app, not with the Chrome extension or mobile apps.
Set up the integration
- Install the TMetric extension associated with your web browser:
- Click the TMetric icon.
- Click the Login button.
Use the integration
To use the TMetric integration, log in to Todoist at https://todoist.com.
After creating a new Todoist task, or when opening an existing task, click the TMetric Start timer button beside it.
The Start timer button changes to the Stop timer button and displays the amount of time spent on the task. This is logged in your TMetric account.
If you have the Owner or Admin status when first starting the timer for the issue, TMetric pulls out from Todoist the project name of the issue and automatically creates a project with the same name in your TMetric account.
The task appears on the Tracker page in the TMetric app. The name, ID, and project of the task are the same as in Todoist.
You can quickly navigate back to Todoist by clicking the task ID (in the following case ID is #70052688):
