Scanbot is a mobile scanner app for PDF documents, QR- and barcodes, with reliable image capture, text recognition, and document annotation.

What does the Todoist/Scanbot integration do?

Scanbot lets you upload your scanned documents to Todoist folders, manually or automatically, and have them assigned to specific tasks. You can specify folders and reminders as well as delete files after upload and upload only on WiFi.

How to connect Todoist with Scanbot?

Todoist is connected with Scanbot completely automatically.

How to use the Todoist/Scanbot integration? 

  1. Open Scanbot and hold your mobile device over a document to scan it.
  2. Review your snapped page(s) and optimize the scanned results, then save the document.
  3. Under the document, tap More... > New workflow > Add new cloud > Todoist. You'll be asked to grant Scanbot authorization to access data from your account. To continue, proceed with authorization.
  4. Choose an existing folder or create a new one, then tap Upload to <Folder Name>.

You can also auto-upload all of your documents to Todoist. Simply choose your desired auto-upload project, scan your documents and manage them within Todoist.
