Use Todoist templates

Browse, search, and import templates directly from within Todoist.

With Todoist templates, optimize the agenda for your next work meeting, try out a new productivity method, improve the planning process for your studies, and discover many other useful workflows. 

Use a template

  1. In any Todoist project, click the three dots icon in the top-right or click the + to add a new project in the sidebar. This opens a menu.
  2. Click Browse templates.
  3. Use the search bar to find a specific template or scroll down to browse the list of templates.

    1. Select the template you want to use.
    2. Click Copy to My Projects. The template will be added as a new project to your My Projects workspace. 
  1. Tap the + icon in the Browse menu to add a new project.
  2. Select Browse templates.
  3. Use the search bar to find a specific template, or scroll down to browse the list of templates.
  4. Select the template you want to use.
  5. Tap Copy to My Projects. The template will be added as a new project to your My Projects workspace.

Create a template from your project

To create a template from your own projects, export the project as a link or a CSV file. Save this link or CSV file in a safe place, in case it's needed.

To use the template, import it to a new project.
