Use the list layout in Todoist

The list layout presents tasks and sections of a project or view in a list. The first task is displayed at the top of the list, with every succeeding task placed below it.

Select the list layout

When creating a new project, select List in the Layout menu.

To turn on the list layout for an existing project:

  1. Open the project from the sidebar.
  2. Click View at the top-right.
  3. Select List.

If you no longer need the list layout, switch to either the board or calendar layouts from the View menu.

When creating a new project, select List in the Layout section.

To turn on the list layout for an existing project:

  1. Tap the project in the navigation menu.
  2. Tap the three dots icon and select View.
  3. Select List.

If you no longer need the list layout, switch to either the board or calendar layouts in the View menu. Then, tap Done.
