To help you stay on top of your Today view, Todoist shows a task count as a badge on the desktop app icon. For some, it’s a great motivator to bring down that number. For others, it can be an intimidating red warning that does nothing but cause anxiety. Here’s how to show or hide the task count badge in Todoist.
- Open System Settings.
- Type Notifications in the search bar.
- Find Todoist in the app list.
- Toggle the Badge application icon on or off.
- Open Windows Settings.
- Select Personalization.
- Select Taskbar.
- Select Taskbar behaviors.
- Toggle the Show badges on taskbar apps option on or off. This will activate or deactivate badges for all apps, not just Todoist.
