FAQ

Do you still support Markdown formatting?

The task title editor has been upgraded to a rich-text editor, and Markdown syntax is no longer supported.

Markdown shortcuts are supported. This means that you'll need to type the closing character (i.e. )) as the last character after pasting the link. By doing this, the Markdown syntax is converted into a link.

How do I remove a link from a piece of text?

  1. Highlight the text that contains the link.
  2. Click Link.
  3. Click the trash can icon.

Is the editor available on mobile apps?

For technical reasons, the iOS and Android apps don't currently support all the formatting options available in our web and desktop apps. Sorry about that!

Why do you provide different formatting options for task names and task descriptions and comments?

Due to the limited space for the task name, it won't be possible to fit formatting options such as bullet lists, numbered lists, H1 headings, H2 headings, or quotes.

Is it possible to disable the editor and only use Markdown options?

No, this is not currently possible.
