Changing the email address you use with your Todoist account is quick and easy! Here is how:

You can only link one email address with your Todoist account.

  1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of Todoist.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Next to your email address, click Edit.
  4. In the pop-up window that opens, enter your new email address, and again to confirm.
  5. Enter your password.
  6. Click on Update email.

  1. Tap on the Menu icon in the top-left corner of Todoist. 
  2. At the bottom of the menu, tap Settings.
  3. Select Account.
  4. Select Email
  5. Enter your new email address, and again to confirm.
  6. Enter your Todoist password (if you don’t have a password because you use your Google, Facebook or Apple account to log in to Todoist, you will not see this option.)
  7. Tap the send-icon.
  1. While viewing your Todoist main screen, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Tap your email address.
  4. Enter a new email address, and again to confirm.
  5. Enter your Todoist password.
  6. Tap Done.

FAQ

Q: I'm unable to change my email because it's already registered to another Todoist account. What do I do?

If you want to use an email from a different Todoist account, log in to the other account and change the address there first. This way the email will be freed up to re-use on the other account. Alternatively, if you don't want to keep your second account, you can also delete it.
