Todoist stores all your completed tasks so you can easily find and search through all the things you’ve accomplished. You can find your completed tasks in two places:

1. Inside projects

Inside your projects you'll be able to view all of the project's tasks that have been completed and removed from your active task list.

While viewing your project, click on the clock icon at the bottom right of your task list.

FAQs

Q: Why are sub-tasks not visible in the completed tasks view inside projects?

A: When you complete a sub-task, it will stay in place crossed out by default, until the parent task has been completed.

If you don’t want your sub-task to be visible in your active tasks lists after you complete it, please check out the Complete or uncomplete a task article.

Q: Why are my recurring task not visible in the completed tasks view inside projects?

A: A recurring task is a single task with a shifting due date, rather than multiple separate tasks. So when you complete your task, it will be registered in the activity log, however the task itself will not be moved the the completed tasks list.
