With calendar feeds you can see all your scheduled Todoist tasks inside your favorite calendar app: Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook Calendar, and any other calendar that allows you to subscribe with a URL feed.

Google Calendar is currently the only calendar app that allows 2-way sync. All other calendar feeds only sync one way (from Todoist to your calendar). Learn more.

Tasks with just a due date will show up as all-day events while tasks with a due date and time will show up as one-hour blocks in your calendar.

There are two ways to connect your Todoist with your calendar:

If you're using the macOS app, please note that it's not currently possible to use the Apple Calendar or the Outlook options in the Integrations tab. Please follow the alternative instructions for macOS in the guidelines below, or use a browser to set up your calendar feed instead.

FAQ

How often does the calendar feed refresh?

How often your feed refreshes depends on the calendar app you use. Some calendar apps update as often as every 5 minutes, whereas others update only once per day.

Can I manually refresh my calendar feed?

Unfortunately, it’s only currently possible to manually refresh your calendar feed if you’re using Apple Calendar: If you are using Apple Calendar on macOS, click + r. If you are using Apple Calendar on iOS, open the app and tap Calendars in the bottom of the screen, then pull down the screen to refresh.

Can I change the duration of my tasks in a calendar feed?

For now, it is only possible to set custom duration for a task when using the Google Calendar integration.

Can I make changes to my tasks via my calendar?

No, these calendar feeds only sync one way. Changes you make in Todoist will be reflected in your calendar, but changes you make in your calendar won’t sync back to Todoist. If you’d like your calendar events to sync back to Todoist, please try out our Google Calendar integration.
