How can I use Todoist with Newton?

What is Newton?

Newton is an email client that lets you manage your workflows (incl. CRM, project management, collaboration, marketing, and more) directly from your inbox.

What does the integration do?

Using the Todoist card in Newton, you can turn any email into a Todoist task directly from your mobile device. Newton works with Gmail, Exchange, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and any IMAP account.

How to connect Todoist with Newton?

No further actions needed. Todoist is connected with Newton completely automatically.

How to use the integration?

  1. Open the Newton app.
  2. Open the message you want to add as a task to Todoist.
  3. Tap the three dots icon at the top right and select to save the email to Todoist.
  4. First time, you will be asked to give Newton permission to access your Todoist data.
  5. In the Todoist window you can edit your task name and comments. Under the three dots icon you can also choose a desired project, set a label and a priority, and assign a due date.
  6. When ready, tap the red Add Task button at the bottom to save the task in Todoist.
