Automations connect securely to the apps you already use. Each connection determines what an automation can do in that app. Take actions like creating a task or sending a message, or watch for updates like a new email or calendar event. It can even do both!
See available apps
Automations currently supports connections to 32 third-party apps, including Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub, Slack, Notion, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Todoist, and Twist. Each app supports actions (your automation performs tasks in that app), updates (your automation watches the app for changes), or both.

Connect an app
Setting up a new integration takes a few minutes.
- Click Connections in the navigation menu.
- Find the app you want to connect and click on it.
- Click Connect under Connection for actions, Connection for updates, or both.
- Follow the onscreen authorization steps for that app.
You can connect more than one account for the same app, like a work Gmail and a personal Gmail. You can view and manage all your connections any time by selecting Connections in the navigation menu.
Disconnect an app
If you no longer want to use an integration or you’re troubleshooting a broken setup, you can remove a connection any time. Disconnecting an app immediately stops any automations relying on that tool.
- Click Connections in the navigation menu.
- Find the app you want to disconnect and click on it.
- Click Connected, then click Disconnect under your active connections.
- Follow the onscreen confirmation steps to remove the integration.
