Once an automation is live, you‘re not stuck with it as it is. Every automation’s detail page gives you a full set of controls for turning it on or off, running it on demand, changing what it does, duplicating it, exporting its setup, fixing its connections, and reviewing its run history.
To get there, select All Automations in the sidebar, then select any automation from the list. Use the All, Enabled, and Disabled filters above the list to narrow things down if you have a lot of them.
Turn an automation on or off
Each automation has a toggle switch, both on its card in the All Automations list and at the top of its detail page. Turning it off stops it from running without deleting it, so you can pause something temporarily and turn it back on later.
Run it on demand
Select Run now on the automation's detail page to trigger a run immediately, outside its normal schedule or trigger. This is useful for testing a change, or for getting an overdue run out of the way.
Change what it does
Select Change in chat to reopen the conversation that built the automation. Describe the adjustment in plain language, whether that‘s a different schedule, an extra condition, or a tweaked message, the same way you’d describe a new automation from scratch.
Duplicate an automation
Open the More options menu on the detail page and select Duplicate to create a copy. This is a quick way to build a variant of something you already have, such as the same workflow for a different project, channel, or schedule, without starting the chat over.
Copy or download its manifest
The More options menu also has Copy manifest and Download manifest. The manifest is the automation‘s underlying definition in a structured format. Most people won’t need this day to day, but it's useful for sharing your exact setup with support, or for backing up a configuration before you make a risky change.
Fix its connections
The Connections section on the detail page shows every app the automation relies on. If one needs attention, you'll see a warning here with a Manage button. Select it to open a dialog listing each required connection, which account it's using, and a way to choose a different account or reconnect.
The automation also shows a Check connections flag in the All Automations list whenever this needs your attention.
Review its run history
The History panel next to the automation‘s details shows every past run, most recent first, with its outcome. If it hasn’t run yet, you‘ll see an empty state here instead. That’s normal for a brand new or manually triggered automation.
Delete an automation
Open the More options menu and select Delete. You'll be asked to confirm.
Make an automation your own
Open All Automations, pick one, and try any of these. Nothing here is permanent except delete.
