Sometimes a task needs a little change, whether that's a new due date or new priority. Here's how to edit a task’s title, date, project, priority and more:

Left-click on a task's name and you’ll see the edit task view, where you can:

  • Edit the task name by typing into the task name field.
  • Schedule the task by clicking the schedule field to the right.
  • Assign the task to someone in a shared project by clicking the assign_web.svgassign icon to the right of the task (only available in shared projects).
  • Move the task to a different project by clicking the web_project.svg project icon to the bottom right of the task.
  • Add labels by clicking the web_label.svg label icon to the bottom right of the task.
  • Set the priority by clicking the web_flag-outline.svg flag icon to the bottom right of the task.
  • Set a reminder by clicking the web_reminder.svg alarm clock icon to the bottom right of the task.
  • Turn the task into a sub-task or parent task by clicking the web_three-dots.svg three dots icon to the bottom right of the task and selecting Sub-task or Parent task.
Quickly make changes to a task by simply typing out Quick Add shortcuts after the task name. For instance, move your task to the #Work project and set its due date to today by typing #Work today at the end of your task name.

Right-click on a task name, select Edit and you’ll see the edit task view, where you can:

  • Move the task to a different project by clicking the win10_project.svg project icon below the task.
  • Assign the task to someone in a shared project by clicking the assign_win10.svg assign icon below the task.
  • Add labels by clicking the win10_label-outline.svg label icon below the task.
  • Set the priority by clicking the win10_flag-outline.svg flag icon below the task.
  • Set a reminder by clicking the win10_reminder.svg alarm clock icon below the task.
