Set a reminder for someone else

If you want to make sure a teammate doesn't forget a task, set a reminder for them.

When working on a shared project, you can set a reminder for someone else and they'll receive it at the date and time of your choosing using their default reminder method – email or push notification.

  1. When adding or editing a task in a shared project, click on the web_reminder.svg alarm clock icon at the bottom right.
  2. Select the type of reminder you'd like to set (date and time or before task).
  3. Depending on which type of reminder you've chosen, enter a time and date or select a relative time.
  4. Click on your avatar to the right.
  5. Select which person you'd like to add the reminder for.
  6. Click Add reminder.
  1. Unfortunately, you can’t set a reminder for someone else on the Windows 10 app at this time. Please use the web app instead.
  1. Tap on an existing task in a shared project.
  2. Tap the android_reminder.svg alarm clock icon.
  3. Tap Date and time and enter a due date and time.
  4. Tap the android_submit.svg submit icon.
  5. Tap on your avatar to the right.
  6. Select which person you'd like to add the reminder for.
  7. Tap the android_submit.svg submit icon.
  1. Tap on an existing task in a shared project.
  2. Tap the ios_reminder.svg alarm clock icon.
  3. Tap On a time and date.
  4. Select a due date and time.
  5. Tap Notify.
  6. Select which person you'd like to add the reminder for.
  7. Tap Done.
