Use Todoist with Safari

Save any web page as a Todoist task using the Todoist button for Safari.

Setting up the integration

1. Install Todoist for macOS.
2. Make sure the extension is enabled in your browser's settings.
   • Open Safari.
   • At the top left, click Safari.
   • Select Settings.
   • Open the Extensions tab.
   • Make sure Todoist is toggled on.
3. Next, add the Todoist button in Safari:
   • Open Safari.
   • At the top left, click View.
   • Select Customize Toolbar...
   • Find the Todoist icon and drag it either to the left or right side of the address bar.
   • Click Done.

Using the integration

Once you've set up the integration, you can add any website as a Todoist task. Here's how:

1. Click the Todoist icon in the toolbar at the top of the browser.
2. The quick add window will appear with the link back to the URL as the task. Add any details you want.
3. Click Add task to save the task.
