After you've canceled your Todoist subscription, you could be eligible for a refund. Keep in mind that when you cancel your subscription, you'll be back on the Beginner plan. Here's what happens when you downgrade.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly payments for Pro and Business plans aren't refundable when you cancel, unless a refund is required by consumer protection laws in your country.
If you cancel a monthly subscription, you'll be able to use the paid features until the end of the billing cycle. You won't be charged at the next renewal date.
Yearly Pro subscription
If you cancel your yearly Pro plan within 30 days of purchase or renewal, you're eligible for a full refund.
Via the Todoist website
You can process this refund yourself. It's fully self-serve:
- Click your avatar at the top-left.
- Select Settings.
- Select Subscription.
- Click Cancel plan.
- Choose a reason for canceling. You can also share feedback on what we could improve.
- Click Cancel subscription to confirm.
- Select End the subscription immediately and receive a refund.
- Click Cancel subscription to finalize. Your refund will be processed automatically.
Via Google Play
If you purchased a yearly subscription through Google Play, first cancel your Pro subscription using these instructions. Then contact us to request a refund for your yearly payment.
Via the App Store
If you purchased your yearly Pro subscription via the App Store, contact Apple directly for your refund. Apple doesn't allow any developers to process refunds for App Store purchases.
Via the Microsoft Store
Microsoft doesn't offer refunds for purchases made via their store. You can learn more in Microsoft Store's Terms of Sale.
Yearly Business subscription
If you purchased a yearly Business subscription within the last 30 days, cancel your Business team first, then contact us to request a refund. Include your payment receipt or the order reference ID from your invoice.
