Clear your browser cookies

If you’re having a problem with Todoist and logging out and logging in doesn’t solve it, you can try clearing your browser cookies.

Here's how you can clear your Todoist cookies on various browsers:


  1. Open Chrome Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click on Advanced.
  3. In the Privacy and security section, click the Site Settings button.
  4. Click on Cookies.
  5. Under All cookies and site data, search for “Todoist”, and delete all Todoist-related entries.
  6. Reload Chrome and log into Todoist.


  1. Open the Firefox Options menu.
  2. On the left, select Privacy & Security.
  3. Next, click on the Manage Data… button.
  4. Search for "Todoist" and select Remove All Shown.
  5. Click Save Changes and confirm in the pop-up window by clicking Remove.
  6. Reload Firefox and log into Todoist.


  1. Open Safari Settings.
  2. Click Preferences, then click Privacy.
  3. Under “Cookies and website data”, select Manage Website Data...
  4. Search for all Todoist-related entries and click Remove.
  5. Reload Safari and then log out and log in to Todoist.

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools button.
  2. Go to Safety, and then select Delete browsing history.
  3. Select the Cookies and website data check box, and then select Delete.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge Settings.
  2. Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
  3. Select the Cookies and saved website data check box and select Clear.
