There are times when you’ll want to link to a task in a document, in a chat or just in your own notes. Here's how to copy the link to a task in just a few steps:
- Right-click on a task and select Copy link to task.
The link will be copied to your clipboard automatically.
- Tap on a task to open the task view.
- Tap on the three dots icon.
- Select Copy link to task.
The link will be copied to your clipboard automatically.
On Android 12 you can copy a link to a task from the recently used apps:
- Tap on a task to open the task view.
- Go to the recent apps overview on your device.
- Tap the link icon on the Todoist preview.
- Tap on a task to open the task view.
- Tap on the three dots icon.
- Select Copy Link to Task.
The link will be copied to your clipboard automatically.
You can also copy your task's link through its context menu.
You can use this link to view the task in Todoist on any platform.
You can also share a link to a task with someone else as long as they have access to the shared project.
