Current issues

Due times of tasks are off when selecting the Mexico City or Iran DST time zones. 

  • ⚠️ Platforms affected: Windows and MacOS desktop apps 
  • 🛠️ Status: We're working on a fix
  • 💡Temporary workaround: Please use the web version (www.todoist.com) for the time being.

Windows app starts with a blank page if there's no connection to the internet

  • ⚠️ Platforms affected: Windows 10, Windows 11
  • 🛠️ Status: We're working on a fix
  • 💡Temporary workaround: You need to be online to start the Windows app. After you've opened it, it will work offline.
These steps also helped fixing the issue for some users:
  • Uninstall the Todoist Windows app.
  • Press Windows + R.
  • Enter %APPDATA%/Todoist.
  • Delete the contents of the folder.
  • Reinstall the Todoist Windows app: https://todoist.com/downloads

macOS app is blank on startup

  • ⚠️ Platforms affected: macOS
  • 🛠️ Status: We're working on a fix
  • 💡Temporary workaround: Force a reboot by using the keyboard shortcut Cmd + R.

Current syncing issues

 Shared projects are not syncing

  • ⚠️ Platforms affected: All
  • 🛠️ Status: We're working on a fix
  • 💡Temporary workaround: Identify which user has the most complete and most up-to-date version of the project, and have everyone else leave and re-join the project. You can also create a new project > Share the project with your collaborators > Move the tasks in batches from the problematic project to the new project using multi-select > and Keep the old project in case you would like to view the completed tasks in the future.

 Google Calendar integration is not syncing

  • 🛠️ Status: We're investigating and working on a fix
  • 💡Temporary workaround: Re-creating new events may help if your existing/old items are not syncing.
