Use monday.com with Todoist

Available for:

monday.com is a cloud-based platform that enables companies to create their own applications and work management software.

By integrating Todoist with monday.com, you will be able to keep your monday.com boards updated every time your Todoist task changes.

Setting up the integration

  1. Log in to your monday.com account.
  2. In the top-left corner, click the Workspaces icon workspace_icon.jpg and select a workspace.
  3. In the left-hand menu, select the board you would like to integrate.
  4. At the top-right, select Integrate.
  5. Search for Todoist and select it from the search results.
  6. Click Add to board.
  7. Select Connect.
  8. Log in to your Todoist account in a browser. If you’re already logged in, you’ll see an option to select your Todoist account.
  9. On the following screen, you’ll be asked to grant permission to integrate the two platforms. Click Agree.
  10. Click project to select which Todoist project should be synced. 
  11. Customize your integration by clicking item, as well as the plus icon.
  12. Once you’re done customizing the integration, select Done to close the integration menu.
  13. Click Add to Board.


What information can be synced from Todoist to monday.com?

The following information can be populated into your monday.com columns: 

  • Task name

  • Due date
  • Priority
  • Completed at
  • Created at
  • Completed Integration (once the task is completed in Todoist, this field will add the done status for the related item on monday.com)

What information can I see in the Todoist task column on monday.com? Can it be changed?

On monday.com, a column named Todoist Task will be populated with the task id. You can click on the task id to open the task in Todoist. It's not possible to change this column.

Can I enable and manage this integration on mobile?

No, this integration can only be enabled and managed via the web app.

How can I remove the integration?

You can turn the integration off or completely delete it by following the guidelines below:

  1. Open monday.com in a browser.

  2. In the left-hand menu, select the workspace you would like to remove the integration from.

  3. At the top-right, click Integrate.

  4. Turn the integration off using the toggle, or click the three dots icon and click delete integration to delete it permanently.
