Our team is here to help out, and answer questions. However, we also know that when you're experiencing an issue, it can be quicker to resolve it by yourself. So, if you're experiencing an issue with Todoist, here are some resources you might find helpful.

First things first, check out our Known Issues page! If your bug is already known to our team, there’s a good chance it’ll be listed on this page. (Please note it is only available in English)

The page is updated regularly (you will see the date it was last updated at the top of the page) and we always include the statuses of our currently known bugs. If there are any temporary workarounds you can use while we’re working on a fix, they’ll be listed on this page.

It may be that you're mistaking a new or experimental feature for a bug.

Are you having trouble with an integration?

If you’re experiencing issues with an integration, please check if we have an article for that integration in the integrations section of our help center.

Not all integrations are built by Doist (the company behind Todoist), which means that we may not be able to solve the issue for you, and that you should instead contact the makers of the integration. If this is the case, it'll say so in the FAQ section of the integration's help center article.

Do you still need help? No problem! You can click the button at the bottom of this article to get taken to our contact form. When submitting a ticket, please include the following information:

    • What platforms you’re experiencing the issue on (i.e. macOS, Android, a browser, etc). If you’re using Todoist in a browser, please mention which one.
    • Troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried.
    • In many cases, screenshots or a screen recording of the issue will help our team understand the problem better. If you feel that's the case, please attach it to your report. 
    • What version your app is. Here's how you can check:

Find out which version of the desktop app is installed on your computer:

  1. Open the Todoist macOS app.
  2. Click Todoist in the top-left corner (next to the Apple logo).
  3. Select About Todoist.

Find out which version of Todoist is currently loaded in the macOS app:

  1. Open the Todoist macOS app.
  2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  3. A menu will appear. The version number is listed at the bottom of this menu.

Find out which version of the desktop app is installed on your computer:

  1. Right-click on the Todoist icon in the system tray.  If you cannot find the Todoist icon, please follow the steps below:
    1. Click the Show hidden icons arrow in the taskbar.
    2. Right-click the Todoist icon

  2. The installed version is listed after View Changelog.

Find out which version of Todoist is currently loaded in the Windows 10/11 app:

  1. Open the Todoist Windows app.
  2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  3. A menu will appear. The version number is listed at the bottom of this menu.

  1. Open the Todoist iOS app.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select About.
  4. You'll see the version listed at the top of the screen.

  1. Open the Todoist Android app.
  2. Drag the bottom app bar up to open the menu.
  3. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings. 
  4. Tap About.
